Hello! My name is Jamie Rodriguez, and I’m honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at E. L. Kent Elementary. Originally from Philadelphia, I’ve been proud to call Texas home since 2014.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Temple University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Southern Methodist University. Over the past 17 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in education in a variety of roles—including serving as an Assistant Principal in Dallas ISD and most recently as a Kindergarten teacher at Farmers Branch Elementary. This year marks my 12th year working in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

I’m excited to be part of the Kent Elementary community and look forward to supporting our students, families, and staff as we work together toward continued success.
