Kent Elementary Fine Arts Academy is a PK-5 campus. Kent is proud to be a two time recipient of the National Blue Ribbon School award. Academic, social and emotional growth opportunities are woven through students’ experiences. The loving, caring and inviting climate creates a cohesive family atmosphere.

Kent Elementary is one of four Imagine Fine Arts Academies in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. All students participate daily in dance, music, theater and art and are encouraged to explore their own talents and to ultimately find their passion.

All About Kent

About Our PTA

Parent involvement is the key to our success at Kent. An integral conduit for parental outreach is through Kent’s PTA. In fact, we received the PTA Golden Apple Award for the 2020-2021 school year. Strong bonds are forged within this group, and PTA serves as an extension of the school. The first parent outreach begins at PK/Kindergarten registration, an event held in the spring to register new students and acquaint parents to school. Family fun and connection is also encouraged by PTA as they host exciting events like family movie night, back-to-school swim party, and book fair.

School Recognitions

Kent is a two time recipient of the National Blue Ribbon School award. In 2015 Kent Elementary was in the the top 26 schools, both public and private, in the state of Texas. The large blue ribbon that adorns our school symbolizes the exemplary teaching and learning that happens at Kent. Our "Best of the Best" motto is well deserved. Students, educators and families all work hard to foster a safe and welcoming environment where students participate in challenging and engaging lessons.

Year in and year out, Kent receives academic distinctions from the Texas Education Agency. Reading/ELA, Math, Science, Post-Secondary Readiness, Closing the Achievement Gaps, and Academic Growth. In 2021, Kent was honored to receive a Best Schools in America Award by Niche.com.

How to Enroll

There are two ways to get in:

If you are a new student and live in the attendance zone, you can move forward by completing online registration and follow the steps for online enrollment.

Students may enroll for the current school year or can begin online registration for the new school year on April 1.
